Introduction
Dental Implants are devices used to permanently anchor dental prostheses to the bone. Typically, they involve the surgical insertion of a titanium implant into the bone, to which a porcelain tooth is attached. Sometimes the implant will be the foundation for a more complex system of gold bars or ball joints which are used to hold a denture in place.
